Who Am I?
During the past 15 years, I’ve been traveling throughout North America, working with entrepreneurs and business leaders to align their teams, “wow” their customers, and grow their business. I’ve worked with CEOs, Presidents, Executives, Marketing teams, Sales teams, Finance teams, and entire organizations, all with a focus on increasing the connection between people and their contribution to the business, it’s customers, and shareholders.
You can read about some of the results of these efforts in my first book, “Operational Empowerment”, or my latest book, “The Unstoppable Organization.” My experiences lead me to speak to large groups at conferences, to CEO peer groups, and in smaller intimate settings on how to empower people to create extraordinary experiences for their customers.
My Career Path.
I first became an entrepreneur at the ripe age of 11, going door to door selling my services for lawn care, snow removal, and yard maintenance. This experience, combined with working in a grocery store starting at the age of 14, placed me on a path of understanding the role each and every person in a business plays in supporting the growth and sustainability of the business.
Formally I’ve lead teams and organizations in various sectors including automotive, electronics, distribution, power generation, retail, and not-for-profit, with roles in Sales, Operations, and even as President. After nearly two decades, I returned to live near my hometown and began speaking and consulting to businesses of all sizes. I was fortunate to work with several recognizable organizations, including CN Rail, Pepsi Co., and Tim Hortons, to name a few.
It was during these early years of my business that I found my passion was in helping entrepreneurs and business owners who had a desire to create extraordinary customer experiences in order to increase their sales.
Why do I do what I do.
First and foremost, I’m a dedicated father of two boys and fortunate to have married the love of my life, Julie. Being an entrepreneur myself, I own and am involved in several businesses, and I find these experiences help me to relate to and understand the challenges that entrepreneurs face.
Despite a hectic travel schedule, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two boys in the small town of Chatsworth, just two hours north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I’m a long-time fitness fanatic, having competed in and won my first Masters Physique Competition in 2019.
